OpenStax Physics

Steve May – Astronomy, Physics, and Geology instructor happily uses the OpenStax Physics textbook with his students. He says it 1) adequately covers the concepts, 2) e-Versions are free and PDF is free to download and print, and 3) the e-Versions are loaded with embedded applications and links. Steve is in his 3rd year of using the book and he has no interest of going back to a high cost traditional physics book. “I can’t wait for OpenStax to come out with more texts in the subjects I teach. Astronomy is in the works!”
